विद्यालय सम्बन्धी जानकारी: केही समाजसेवी र बुद्धिजीवी, साथै साविकको वाइसी बिआरवा र हालको पुनर्वास नगरपालिका वडा नं. १, पुरैनाका बासिन्दाहरूको सक्रियतामा वि.सं. २०२० मा 'श्री राम बुद्ध प्राइमरी स्कूल' को नाममा यस विद्यालयको स्थापना भएको थियो । त्यस समयमा भौतिक अवस्था कमजोर भएकाले, ३/४ को टिनको छाप्रोमा कक्षा १ सञ्चालन गरिएको थियो । वि.सं. २०२४ पुस १ गतेदेखि विद्यालय सहयोग समितिको सक्रियतामा कक्षा १ देखि ५ सम्म पठनपाठन भएको थियो । त्यसबेला यस क्षेत्रका अभिभावकहरू आर्थिक रूपमा विपन्न भए पनि, विद्यालय शुल्क र चन्दा सङ्कलन गरी विद्यालय सञ्चालन भएको थियो । अभिभावकहरूको सक्रियतामा वि.सं. २०४७ कार्तिक १६ गते जिल्ला शिक्षा कार्यालयबाट अस्थायी स्वीकृति प्राप्त गरेको थियो । त्यसबेला सहयोग समितिमा सभापति स्व. प्रजापति जोशी र कोषाध्यक्ष स्व. परमानन्द पन्त हुनुहुन्थ्यो । आर्थिक कठिनाइ पार गर्दै वि.सं. २०६९ मङ्सिर १५ गते यस विद्यालयले स्थायी स्वीकृति सहित २ जना शिक्षक दरबन्दी प्राप्त गर्यो । सोही बेला श्री राम बुद्ध प्राइमरी स्कूलबाट श्री राम बुद्ध प्राथमिक विद्यालय नामाकरण गरियो । विद्यालयको प्रधानाध्यापक पदमा श्री नन्दराम पाण्डे रहनुभयो । वि.सं. २०७६ मा विद्यालय साविकको दोदा नदीको किनारबाट हाल अवस्थित स्थानमा सारियो । वि.सं. २०७८ मा विद्यालय क्षेत्रका अभिभावकहरूको सक्रियतामा ६ कोठे भवनको निर्माण गरियो ।
Established in 2020 B.S. as 'Shri Ram Buddha Primary School' through the active efforts of local social workers, intellectuals, and residents of Purena (currently Punarwas Municipality Ward No. 1, Kanchanpur), the school initially operated Grade 1 in a 3/4-room tin-roofed shed due to weak physical infrastructure, later expanding to grades 1 through 5 on December 16, 2024 B.S. through the School Support Committee, running on tuition fees and donations from economically disadvantaged parents. The school received temporary approval from the District Education Office on Kartik 16, 2047 B.S. (under Chairman Late Prajapati Joshi and Treasurer Late Parmanand Pant), and after overcoming financial hardships, it secured permanent approval along with two teacher quotas on Mangsir 15, 2069 B.S., officially renaming it to Shri Ram Buddha Primary School under Headmaster Nandaram Pandey. Over the years, lower secondary classes (Grade 6) began privately on 2054/05/05 B.S. (subsequently naming it Shri Ram Buddha Lower Secondary School), followed by Grade 9 in 2065 B.S. and Grade 10 in 2066 B.S. to operate as a secondary school. The school relocated from the Doda River bank to its current location in 2076 B.S., constructed a 6-room building in 2078 B.S. with parental participation, added two teacher quotas in 2079 B.S. (under SMC Chairman Late Durjan Rana), added another teacher quota in 2080 B.S., and welcomed Late Sonu Rana as the SMC Chairman in 2083 B.S. Geographically, situated in Purena village amidst a mixed settlement of indigenous Rana Tharu, Chaudhary, and Pahadi communities, the school is bounded on the south by the Beliouri-Dhangadhi Hulaki Road, Shri Malika Basic School Mahendrabasti, and Shri Shanti Secondary School Anshuvarmabasti; on the north by the Naktababa Shiva Temple and Kaleshwar Basic School Bhusunda; on the east by Shri Aishwarya Basic School Amaraiya and Shri Janshakti Basic School Balbhadrabasti; and on the west by Shri Saraswati Basic School and Kanchan New Bluefield Academy.
वि.सं. २०७९ मा पुनः २ जना शिक्षक दरबन्दी थप भयो । त्यसबेला सञ्चालक समितिका अध्यक्ष स्व. दुर्जन राना हुनुहुन्थ्यो । वि.सं. २०८० मा पुनः एक जना शिक्षक दरबन्दी थप भयो । वि.सं. २०८३ मा वि.व्य.स. अध्यक्ष स्व. सोनु राना हुनुभयो । वि.सं. २०५४/०५/०५ देखि निजी स्रोतबाट नि.मा.वि. तह कक्षा ६ सञ्चालन भई प्राथमिक विद्यालयबाट श्री राम बुद्ध नि.मा.वि. नामाकरण गरियो । वि.सं. २०६५ मा मा.वि. तह कक्षा ९ र वि.सं. २०६६ मा कक्षा १० सञ्चालन गरियो । भौगोलिक अवस्था: यो विद्यालय कञ्चनपुर जिल्ला पुनर्वास नगरपालिका वडा नं. १ पुरैना गाउँमा अवस्थित छ । यो विद्यालय जनजाति राना थारु, चौधरी र पहाडी समुदायको बस्तीको बीचमा अवस्थित छ । यस विद्यालयको दक्षिणतर्फ बेलौरी धनगढी हुलाकी सडक, श्री मालिका आधारभूत विद्यालय महेन्द्रबस्ती र श्री शान्ति मा.वि. अंशुवर्माबस्ती पर्दछन् । उत्तरतर्फ नकटाबाबा शिव मन्दिर र कालेश्वर आधारभूत विद्यालय भुसुण्डा छन् भने पूर्वतर्फ श्री ऐश्वर्य आधारभूत विद्यालय अमरैया र श्री जनशक्ति आधारभूत आवि बलभद्रबस्ती छन् । पश्चिमतर्फ श्री सरस्वती आधारभूत विद्यालय र कञ्चन न्यु ब्लुफिल्ड एकेडेमी रहेका छन् ।
